Growing up in a family of veterinarians and sharing a passion for care of the athlete with both his father and brother, Dr. Colton McInturff is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. Following graduation from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017, Colton underwent a one-year internship in advanced musculoskeletal diagnostic imaging at Colorado State University. Following his internship, he completed a residency in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation at Colorado State University in partnership with Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, LLC in Pilot Point, Tx. His practice caters primarily to caring for the performance horse and athlete, with a focus on lameness diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation. Currently, his research interests focus on practical methods lameness therapeutics and investigating methods of maintaining joint health and osteoarthritis prevention.
